The Umbrella’s Official Release

Some of you may have seen some of my posts about The Umbrella, website here ( http://www.theumbrellamovie.com/ ), but in case you haven’t here is a short recap and update.

The Umbrella is an independent feature film that I worked on, as the Gaffer, during principle photography in Brisbane Australia. It was an amazing opportunity full of hard work, sweat, tears, and every other emotion that occurs when you work on a feature film. In Post Production there were delays of many sorts from hard drives being stolen (en-route to the editor), waiting between film festivals (some festivals want exclusive access to a film submission), or sitting on someones desk waiting to be worked on. All of these trials are familiar to those who have produced feature films on a regular basis, however The Umbrella is The Initiative’s first feature film so they experienced it all first hand. As of August 17th, 2016 The Umbrella has been officially released to the public, it is an exciting day for all since so much was poured into the film.
